Madrid 7th July 2010.- UNAD is an educational Project that
was born with that name: Unidad Universitaria del Sur from
Bogotá (UNISUR) because of the 52nd Law as a national
and public establishment attached to the National Education
Ministry of Colombia.
In August 1997 this was transformed by the Congress in
the UNAD – Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia – with
this object: To create an education and formative space
appropriate to the local, regional, national and international
needs in this democratic and modern society.
Ever Since april 1982 it started , the UNAD has compromised
to contribute with the citizen education and their humanistic,
technological and comuninity knowledge.
Thanks to this approach, in 2005 and by means of a ministerial
solution, the UNAD was recognized legally with the academic
character, with the juridic personality, with the academic,
administrative and financial autonomy and independent patrimony.
The UNAD was attached to the National Education Ministry.
And, the last year, the UNAD received its quality certificate,
the Technical Colombian Rule in Public Steps NTCGP 1000
and the Technical Rule in quality NTC ISO 9001. And by
means to the N64329 solution of 14th December 2009, The
distinctive signs Division of the Industry and Trade Supervision
gave to the UNAD the deposit of commercial sign.
What
can you study in the UNAD?
The UNAD has a large formative offer. By one hand, the
UNAD counts with a literacy teaching, basic education
and secondary education and the labor word to contribute
to the education of young and adult people.
By the other, The UNAD counts with a large formative
offer of postgraduate courses like: ‘Agrarian Biotechnology’, ‘Education,
Culture and Politics’ , Specialization of Projects
Steps’ and ‘Pedagogy’, among others.
The UNAD counts too with professionals programs like ‘Administrations
of companies’ or ‘Social Comunication’.

Leal Afanador –Rector- and to Mr. Roberto Salazar
Ramos because of their education, cultural and scientific
services and because of their interest of contribute
in the collective knowledge. ATEI wants to send an affectionate
greeting to Mr. Carlos Lineros because of his steps as
Directive Board Member ATEI and because of his help in
coproduction process.
