Madrid, 21st June 2010.- The mexican writer Carlos
Monsiváis died the last 18th june at
14.00 pm in his country after a long fight
against lung disease.
Monsiváis was one of the most important
Mexican writers with works as 'Cuando los banqueros
se van', 'El Estado laico y sus malquerientes'
or 'Apocalipstick'.
Along his career he has received countless prizes
and recognitions as National Journalism Prize in
Mexico, Gabriela Mistral Medal of the Government
of Chile or the Anagrama Prize of Essay.
